The renovation at the Shanghai Railway Station nears completion. Workers have expanded the north station building to 15,560 square meters from 1,000 square meters, refurbished the south station building and added a 53,145-square-meter wave-shaped platform awning. The revamped station will be fully operating tomorrow, the first day of the Spring Festival travel peak.
